Yeap, great (and unexpected) choice. I saw this film myself at the theaters years ago but is ashamed to admit that I’ve nearly forgotten about it until I saw the most recent Noyce film, CATCH A FIRE, which was decent, but nowhere near THE QUIET AMERICAN.

I thought Brendan Fraser was pretty good in the film too, this was one of his better performances, along with Gods And Monsters (I wanted to add George Of The Jungle and Blast From The Past as well, but I don’t want to get shot, haha)

Ooooh…awesome pick, man!!

Michael Caine is one of those actors that I could watch all damn day.

You know, another of Caine’s films that could easily fit into this blog-a-thon is “Children of Men,” which was CRIMINALLY overlooked by the public and the media. It’s like the Ron Paul of movies.
