I’m afraid I don’t own the plane crash photo you mentioned. I just thought it looked cool. And to be fair to all the freelancers trying to make a living I should take it down. The length of time that can be considered “borrowing” has probably passed.

Another Canadian resident in Asia is writing to you. One who is also using the blog format as a tool to home his writing skills; I am trying to find styles that I am comfortable with, or that are comfortable with me.

Your writing is lucid and clear. I strongly suspect that I will read more in your blog and follow it. But, that is not why I am writing.

On your August 22, 2007 post you have an image of a China Airlines plane crash. From your blog I get the impression that you took the photo.

Do you own copyright on that image, and if so, may I use a copy of it on my blog in the following posting? I would include attribution on both the “alt” and the “title” descriptions of the image.

Almost all the images on my blog are mine but I have no image of a plane crash, and I would like to use one on this particular posting.
